(One fully orchestrated day that happens again and again July 7 - 12 Centre Pompidou, Paris)
The day on Repetition Island* starts at noon. Without a prior notice it moves into a full-time live scenario of fine-tuning, exercising and building a space for a shared habitation. “The day is our medium, space is our practice” says Mardi, the inhabitant of the Repetition Island, busy with obliterating the line between the rehearsal and the show on the floor. “Maybe the last day will look like the first day was intended to be,” explains Mardi. It will take 5 days to arrive to this moment.
